I try to apply the 1% Rule in my life. My goal is to be better than yesterday each and everyday. I try to learn something new or improve my skills everyday. Sometimes I have a lot of time to practice but even when I do not have much time, I try to do my best to improve myself. This is a continuous cycle.

Can you give an example of the 1 percent rule from your life?

I think I apply the 1% rule in my life. I try to get better each and every day. Everyday I try to learn something new or I try to improve my existing skills. I mean on some days I have more time and energy and that means I can work more on my skills but on certain days I might feel down or maybe disorganized and even on those days I try to do something useful to contribute to my craft to my skills and my profession. I can certainly say that this approach leads to very very healthy results and in the end I can see myself advancing in my field and becoming an example for others.

This is yet another reason why habits are so important.

The people and organizations that can do the right things, more consistently are more likely to maintain a slight edge and accumulate disproportionate rewards over time.

then you can repeat the process of winning by just a little bit over and over again.

We can call this The 1 Percent Rule. The 1 Percent Rule states that over time the majority of the rewards in a given field will accumulate to the people, teams, and organizations that maintain a 1 percent advantage over the alternatives. You don’t need to be twice as good to get twice the results. You just need to be slightly better.
