Seslendir Privacy Policy

This section applies specifically to Seslendir and takes precedence over the general policy for our other apps below. Seslendir does not collect personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, location, payment information, text, or audio for the app owner. It has no account, advertisements, tracking, analytics SDK, or server processing. The general statements about collecting information, payments, marketing, and international transfers below do not apply to Seslendir.

Local speech and reading. Turkish EMA Lightning and Antalia Mini voices and American/British English Kokoro voices are bundled with the app. Text normalization, pronunciation, speech generation, word timing, reading progress, comprehension answers, word practice, and camera/image text recognition run on your device. No model download, account, or network connection is required for speech generation.

Permissions. The camera is requested only when you choose to scan a page. The system photo picker provides only the image you select; Seslendir does not read your photo library. Microphone permission is requested only when you start optional reading practice. Practice audio stays on your device and is used only for playback comparison, without automated pronunciation scoring. Add-only Photos permission is requested only when you save an exported video. Denying these permissions does not prevent text-to-speech or reading.

Storage and deletion. Generated WAV recordings, their text and timing information, reading documents, bookmarks, words, progress, and optional practice recordings are stored in the app’s local container. Technical generation-time and memory measurements are also stored locally and are not sent to us. You can delete recordings and reading documents in the app. Removing the app deletes its local data. Pending shared text is stored in the app’s shared container, removed after successful processing, and excluded from backup. Depending on your iOS backup settings, other app data may be included in Apple’s device or iCloud backups; the app owner has no access to those backups. Previously exported files and backups remain under your control.

Sharing and system features. Text or audio is sent to another app or recipient only when you choose a sharing or export action. Those recipients have their own privacy practices. A recording’s title, playback progress, and duration may appear on the Lock Screen, in Now Playing, or in Live Activities. You can stop playback and Live Activities or disable them in iOS settings. Siri and Shortcuts input handling follows your Apple/Siri settings; a shortcut you configure may subsequently share the resulting audio with other services. Seslendir itself does not send your text or audio to a server.

External links. Websites opened from the app, including this policy page, follow their own website privacy practices. Opening these links is optional and not required for speech generation. Data on this policy page is not a description of additional data collected by Seslendir.

Contact and changes. For privacy questions, use our contact page. If Seslendir’s data practices change, we will update this policy and its App Store privacy information.

General Policy for Other Apps

Hüseyin Demirtaş (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the various apps including HD Colors and HD YDS (“Apps”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use our Apps.

6.2 Marketing Communications: You can opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in those emails.

6.3 Location Information: You can stop the collection of location information by changing the settings on your device.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our Apps are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Apps or by other means. Your continued use of the Apps after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
